The Wrapper Project

I analyzed and deconstructed the content of a food or beverage label with substantial text, reimagining it through experimental typography and communication. This five-part project explored how typography evolves under different influences, focusing on synthesizing typographic knowledge, mastering information hierarchy, applying transmedia methodologies, and crafting unique aesthetics through innovative letterform design, proportional arrangements, and contextually relevant layouts.

This project transforms ordinary food and beverage labels into bold, dynamic platforms for visual storytelling. By deconstructing and reimagining typography, layout, and design, it unlocks opportunities to redefine aesthetics, elevate communication, and push creative boundaries. It’s a chance to experiment fearlessly, craft unique brand identities, and turn packaging into a captivating, unforgettable experience that resonates across mediums.

The Concept

I reimagined the Olipop brand, creating a bold new identity and launching the "Rebel by Olipop" campaign with the tagline "Radically Effective Bacteria Elevates Life." This project allowed me to expand a product line through my personal lens, combining creative exploration with a deep dive into typography, marketing strategies, and brand identity.

With a focus on breathing new life into existing products, I conducted a comprehensive case study of Olipop—celebrated for its sustainability, health-conscious values, and vegan principles. Centered on their soda-inspired beverage crafted with plant fiber and prebiotics, this project aimed to amplify its message of wellness and vitality while pushing the boundaries of innovative design.

I created typography that embraces raw authenticity over polished precision, infusing each letterform with character and depth. Drawing inspiration from the natural imperfections of the ingredients, the design captures the resilient spirit of the wellness journey, celebrating the beauty found in imperfection and the challenges of growth.

To channel a rebellious energy, I blended playful warmth and inclusivity with a touch of chic sophistication. Influenced by the vibrant essence of pop-rock culture, the design pulses with dynamism and excitement, delivering a bold and electrifying visual identity.

My mission centers on promoting health and wellness. Inspired by OLIPOP, a probiotic soda alternative, I rebranded the product with a limited-edition collection:

REBEL by OLIPOP.

"Rebel" stands for "Radically Effective Bacteria Elevates Life," redefining wellness by challenging unhealthy choices. This campaign blends a bold, rebellious spirit with a commitment to gut health advocacy.
